Throwback Thursday: Wedding Week

Since sharing one of my favorite photos last week on Facebook and Instagram from my lovely sister-in-law's wedding in Italy, several people have asked to see what I wore to all of the pre-wedding events.  Obviously, I brought an all Wai Ming wardrobe, but I was strategic in choosing jewelry and accessories that could be mixed and matched throughout the week in order to save space in my suitcase.

Night 1: Welcome dinner at a villa overlooking Florence.
I wore the stripe Rosie Dress (#9) with a graphic statement necklace (#10), a bright red lip, the cutout gold cuff (#11), gold clutch (#12) and nude heels w/ a touch of gold (#8).

Night 2: Traditional family style dinner in a beautiful courtyard in Florence.
I wore the black Michael Dress w/ herringbone mesh inserts (#14), the black/snakeskin heels (#15), drop earrings (#13), cutout cuff (#11) and gold clutch (#12).

Night 3: Beach party in Portofino.
I wore the yellow Max Dress (#1) with flats sandals (#4) to help navigate the sand and the dance floor, mother of pearl earrings (#2), gold cuff (#11), and monogrammed clutch (#3).

Night 4: Rehearsal Dinner in Portofino.
I wore the Ursual Dress (#5) with nude heels (#8), crystal spike bracelet (#7), crystal pyramid earrings (#6) and my trusty monogrammed clutch (#3)

Night 5: The wedding in Portofino.

Although many of the accessories are no longer available, you should be able to find similar pieces (which are linked below)

1. Wai Ming Max Dress (special order)
10. Vintage Neckalce (similar)

Throwback Thursday: Issac Mizrahi and "The Magic Flute"

Who doesn't love Isaac Mizrahi? He is as talented as he is entertaining. Earlier this spring, I had the pleasure of spending some time with the man himself and hearing about his work as the director and designer on "The Magic Flute" for The Opera Theatre of St. Louis. It sounds like he has a unique interpretation of the storyline, costumes and set that only he could mastermind. I can't wait to see it for myself when it opens this weekend!
Here are a few of my favorite snapshots from a truly enjoyable evening.

I'm sure that I am saying something very charming here.

Throwback Thursday: Coterie through the seasons

With Coterie starting this weekend at the Javits Center in NYC, we can't help but reminisce about shows past. Here are some fun snapshots from previous seasons -  we've come a long way since our first show!

If you're at Coterie this weekend, come visit us at Booth #3242!

The day begins with a blank canvas and a pile of boxes - not the most beautiful start, but it has so much potential!

I highly recommend bringing your own personal handyman to help with set-up.
