So, I realize the Emmys were a few weeks ago, but it’s never too late  to highlight my talented and beautiful friend, Renu Ballal. Renu and I have been friends since she was assigned as my “buddy” in 7th grade. I’ve always known how amazing she is, but she was recently recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with an Emmy nomination for her work on the HBO mini series, Mildred Pierce. Unfortunately, Gettysburg stole the Emmy, but Renu looked gorgeous in a Wai Ming original. She wore a fiery, open back silk dress in pleated chiffon, reverse charmeuse and crepe. She’ll always be a winner in my book!
